secure but not = oem

these arrived quickly, are the correct length and thread pitch, but i have 2 concerns:
1) the driver tip seems fragile, so i may have undertightened (although using blue loctite on the threads means that they shouldn’t loosen with vibration.)
2) even with the included washers, the points of contact with the wing surface are significantly smaller than the heads of the oem screws, so i have a minor concern re: force distribution and the possibility of cracking.
the theft safety factor does override these concerns, so i’m using them. will just need to recheck periodically.

The 2023 Civic Type R is an incredible machine, but one of the first few things we were unimpressed with were the screws that held the OEM wing in place. There is nothing stopping someone with a commonly available tool from removing the wing and walking off with it. That's where our Security Screw Kit comes in.

Our security screws are manufactured under ISO compliance and feature a patented & licensed system that prevents unauthorized access to bolted or screwed compartments using custom key/drive configurations. All components are made in the USA from domestic sources. The lock key can only be ordered through us, offering the maximum level of security.

This kit was designed to replace the screws on any FL5 factory mount spoiler but can also be used to replace license plate screws if desired.

Due to intricacies of the locking system, TSP recommends not tightening these beyond 4.5ft lbs or 54 inch pounds. 

This kit includes:
6 x Stainless Steel Locking Screws
6 x Stainless Steel Washers
1 x TSP Locking Screw Key
