Pretty good, lightweight, installation requires an iota of care

I originally purchased this in 2022 and have had it installed for quite a while, but neglected to review it. I cannot honestly rave about how it transformed my vehicle and now I'm outmaneuvering other cars in high-stakes togue battles like I'm a white-bread American version of Takumi Fujiwara. Because none of that has happened.

What I can honestly say is that it was a fairly easy installation (with a caveat) and has a positive impact on perceived chassis rigidity. That caveat for the installation is that, due to the shape of this part and the packaging space in the install location, you have basically two options to properly fit it:

1) Leave certain front-end aero panels off (inadvisable)
2) "Window" these panels so that the ends of the bar can poke through

I took the second option. With my Dremel and some care, I am pleased with the end result. I've already got several other chassis and suspension modifications, so the impact may be more of a drop in the bucket, but I have nothing negative to say about the performance of the bar.

The interference with the aero panels is the main sticking point here, and is the primary reason that I would readily suggest the recently released PRL Motorsports front chassis brace instead. It's currently cheaper, looks a bit more slick and thought-out, is stainless rather than coated mild steel, and seemingly does not require removal or cutting of any of the aero panels.

As for this part, easy four stars, with one knocked off for the installation complications.

Made from ASTM A500 Grade A (American US Standard Mild Steel)

All materials used are carefully selected to ensure the best performance and safety. The brackets are made of 4MM to 5MM steel plates, while the hollow steel tubes and oval tubes are of 1.2MM to 1.6MM thickness. These materials' thicknesses ensure the bars are rigid and strong to maintain constant geometry at all times, yet safe enough to crumble during an impact.
